We’re up 30% on our daily hits this month. I just wanted to welcome all the new readers, thank the old ones, and otherwise do a jig.
While we’re at it, if you want to introduce yourself, regular readers, and say hi or make suggestions, etc. then comment! I love to hear from you, and while we might not follow the suggestions, they’re a learning experience!

Humm, some turn out here. Just kidding. Well, if you’re serious… I’m Brock, I’ve got an addiction to Astronomy, Science, Science Fiction, Fiction, Military, Warfare, History, Gaming, Women, and Fine Food (not fast food). With developed tastes in Wine and Beers. The doctor tells me my additions are incurable.
I mostly stick around the Battlestar Galactica forum as that is my strongest fancy. But I’m really a writer, telling a human vs. alien story in a modern world that is in a futuristic setting where we go out and kick butt instead of getting kicked back. I’m sure that will do.

Yes, Im serious, and thanks. I know there’s a lot of folks that just blow through looking for specific stuff, so I wasn’t expecting a real turn out of folks commenting, outside of the half dozen or so that do regularly.

Oh, on a second note I do have a suggestion for all those sci-fi enthusiasts out there that want to strike out on their own (like me) out side from Star Wars/Trek, BSG, B5 and all the other establish stuff I advise one to read the Science of Battlestar Galactica. You don’t have to be a fan of the show or anything, but this book is basically Astronomy, Astrophysics, Nuclear Warfare and Space Warfare for dummies… and loads of other stuff and relates things to our modern and near future world.
